Special PTA Meeting: Vote on Bylaws & Special Rules Amendments

During our February PTA Meeting, Boyd Skelton, the CSA Parliamentarian, presented the recommendations for the Bylaws and Standing Rules. Per PTA Guidelines, we must provide 30 days’ notice of these updates, which was given on February 11, 2026.
Please review the recommended changes below (NOTE: You must be logged into MTK to see these documents).
A special PTA meeting will be held virtually on March 19 to vote on these changes. Dial-in Details may be found in the PTA Newsletter, dated March 16.

Volunteering
All CSA families are required to volunteer five hours each school year as a condition of their child’s enrollment. Be sure to track your hours.

If you are making a PTA purchase, please use a tax-exempt form. The PTA cannot reimburse you for sales tax. Tax Exemption

Submit Yearbook Photos
Want to see your student's picture in the yearbook? The yearbook team is working hard to capture the spirit and story of this school year — but they can’t be everywhere at once. If you’ve snapped any great photos at school events, performances, club events, spirit days, or even students spending time away from school, submit them to the yearbook*.
Click link and type "Cornerstone Charter School." Then complete information to create a profile and upload your photos!
*By uploading, photos will be in the public domain. And you are providing consent for photos to be used in the Cornerstone Yearbook.

Students are expected to wear their ID every day, at all times. Please encourage your student to keep up with his/her ID and wear it each day.
